AMY L. OLLENDORF, Ph.D., M.S., R.P.A. #12588

Dr. Ollendorf has over 34 years of experience in science & environmental consulting, including 25 years in environmental compliance. She has first-hand field experience in 34 US states (Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming) and abroad (Canada, Germany, and Israel). Her report experience also includes California, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Island of Madeira (Portugal), and Turkey.  She also has traveled to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Americas, Western Europe, India, and the Middle East.

Dr. Ollendorf exceeds the Professional Qualifications Standards as set forth by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior's Guidelines for Archaeology, and she meets the Guidelines for History. She formerly was the only archaeologist in Minnesota who also was licensed by the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID as a Professional Geologist (1998-2018). Ollendorf also is listed on the Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA), maintains membership in the Society for American Archaeology, and is an Expert Member of the International Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management (ICAHM) of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS).

Ollendorf served as a Commissioner on the Heritage Preservation Commission for the City of Minneapolis (2005-2008). She also is a member of Shir Harmony, a Jewish women's a cappella collective, formed in January 2000.  In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family - traveling, gardening, and biking.  Two foreign high school students lived with Amy's family for the school years 2003-2004 (Berlin, Germany) and 2004-2005 (Heusy-Verviers, Belgium).
